First Quarter

Hey everybody!!!!
OMG!!!! First quarter finally ended!!! YAY!!!! I am so happy!!! school's okay, but summer's wayyyyyyyy better!!!

My 5 Birthday Gifts

My birthday is in October. I don't like that month, not only because it is in the fall, but because it is during the school time. But, I always get things that I want on my birthday, like my laptop- which I got in December- that I got for my 11 birthday. No matter what I get, I always appreciate what it is.
But if I could get five things that I wanted for my birthday, they would be:

• iPhone
• iPad
• a chair that you hang from the ceiling (so that you are sitting there in the air)
• a bed curtain (I don't know why, but I have really wanted one of those)
• 1 million dollars

New York!!!

Yay!!! Next week, I might visit New York!!! :D I am so excited! I haven't been there before and there are so many places to go and so many things to do in New York, I don't even have the slightest idea of where to start my trip. I am obviously going to see the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building, but I want everything I plan to go to, to fit into my schedule. What do you think are some of the best places to go to or best things to do in New York?..........:P

Speaking of a longer school year, my little sister doesn't start school until sometime in September!!! NOT FAIR at all!!! I start school on August 23. I haven't even gotten my schedule yet, so I don't know my teachers. :(
Let's appreciate what we have and spend it wisely.
Can't wait for next summer....:D

Summer

NO!!! Only one more month left of summer!!! Why did June have to fly by so fast?!? One more month to spend on studying for school, cooling off at the pool, baking cakes, have parties, drinking or selling lemonade, and of course, one more month to spend on vacation to a different place!!! So, if you want my advice, do anything that you can't do during school time as soon as possible, because soon....you won't be able to sleep until 12:00a.m. like you usually do these days, and you will have to cancel the trip to the Bahamas, so remember to enjoy yourself while you can. What I usually do in the summer is sleep in (duh...I mean who doesn't sleep in...except for morning people, of course), work on my daily routine of preparing for school, visit the pool when I really need to cool off, and play in the new small pool that my little sister got for her 7th birthday in July. I also edit my pictures a lot using photoshop, as soon as I found out that I had the CD to download for photoshop on my laptop. I don't really know how to use photoshop, but I just play around with it, and once you work on it a lot you memorize things and understand how to use the programs. I hope that I haven't just thrown every golden summer day into the trash, and that I have done at least some useful things (which I obviously have!!!).
I am not saying that during school time you don't have any free time or don't have a time to rest for a little bit. But usually you have so many things to go to, especially if you go to a lot of extra-curricular activities, or if you go to a lot of events, such as weddings or concerts, or formals for school.
I personally do so much work during the summer, and at home, that whenever I am at home, I feel as if I do more work!!! (But I always have fun and enjoyment in what I do).
Oh well. Sooner or later we will have to go to school again. Have a great year!!! :D
